Summer Lacrosse Day Camp at USM

Week long summer lacrosse camp for new players, boys and girls, grades 4-8.
Monday, June 23rd - Thursday, June 26th

Camp will concentrate on the fundamentals of lacrosse: passing, catching, cradling and team positioning. All participants will need to wear helmet, gloves, arm pads, shoulder pads, stick and mouth guard. Equipment will be available for rental during the camp.

Warrior Players Club Experience Camp

Best lacrosse camp in Milwaukee!
Date: Monday, July 21st - Thursday, July 24th, 9:30 am - 3:30 pm

Location: Uihlein Soccer Complex - 7101 W. Good Hope Road Milwaukee, WI

Eligibilty: Boys ages 10 -18, all positions, all experience levels. Graduating seniors are allowed. Players will be divided into groups by grade and ability - Youth/High School.

Director: Robin Buckley

Staff: Includes US World team player Matt Striebel(Baltimore Barrage, Princeton three-time All-American), Chicago Machine players: Kevin LeVeille and Sidney Jones, Pete Callahan, Rich Pruszynski and Robin Buckley. Learn from Matt Striebel, Peter Smith and other top local coaches and players. Possible surprise guests from the MLL. Ratio of 8:1.

Freebies: Warrior T-Shirts, stickers, lanyards, reversible jerseys, and tons of free giveaways, awards and prizes.

Referee Training this Spring

Referee training for the youth and high school spring season is around the corner.

The training is for new lacrosse referee's (no experience necessary). Candidates must be able to run to keep up with play. If you have refereed another sport, lacrosse is another opportunity.

Thursday, March 6th & March 13th from 6:00 - 9:00 PM at Milwaukee School of Engineering - Kern Center in Milwaukee, WI.

Participant's are required to attend these two classroom sessions, read the rule book and course material, take the rules test, register with US Lacrosse as an official and the on field training. Cost for the training is $35. If completed by April 4th, $20 will be reimbursed by MAYLA.
Referees are compensated for games they officiate between $35 and $60 based on level of play and experience.
