Founded in 2001, the Milwaukee Youth Lacrosse Association (MAYLA) is a non-profit organization that provides local leadership, structure and education to promote lacrosse in the Milwaukee area and enrich the experience of its participants.

MAYLA has a Board of Directors and a League Commissioner and engages an Officials' Assignor to help ensure that an appropriate number of officials officiate each game. 

MAYLA has many member clubs.  While MAYLA provides the league structure, each member club determines how best to form and engage teams of players.
